On Tuesday, France had a warm-up game with a team of local amateurs. Henry and Vieira both took part in the training match, suggesting they would be fit to play against the Netherlands. Henry, who pulled out of a training session last week, said he had a sore thigh muscle but it was nothing serious.

Vieira said he hurt his left thigh muscle in training in the build-up to the finals, but he plans to stay in the squad for the rest of the tournament. The return of the two is expected to set up more scoring chances, and boost the confidence on the French side.
