Special Report:   2008 African Cup

Egypt have won their sixth African Cup of Nations title - and their second in a row - by beating Cameroon 1-0 in Sunday's final in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

Egyptian team are celebrating their triumph.

Sepp Blatter gave the fixture the FIFA presidential seal of approval. The match's pivotal moment arrived in the 77th minute.Egypt substitute Mohamed Zidan robbed the ball from a shattering Rigobert Song and lay it off for Mohamed Abouterika to score what would prove the game's only goal.

Song had a chance to redeem himself deep in injury time. He couldn't - and Egypt held out for a well-deserved win.
