Angola had an opportunity to open the scoring in the 35th minute, but Ze Kalanga shot straight at Tunisia's goalkeeper when he had an unmarked Manucho square of him. Angola's efforts to score failed when Maurito fired a 20-meter shot straight at goalkeeper Hamdi Kasraoui in the 57th minute.
The match finished Nil-all, with both teams collecting the points they need to progress to the knockout stages beating out Senegal and South Africa, who played out a 1-all draw in Kumasi.
