John Mensah, Ghana Captain said "We are the home nation and we want to win this tournament. We have the supporters backing us and we are determined that every match we are going to play, play like a wounded lion to get our three points and that's what we want."
Youssef Safri, Morocco Captain said "We didn't deserve to be good in this game. We didn't deserve to win. We should be better. We should work much harder than today and today wasn't a surprise because Ghana was greater than us, much better than us and they deserved to win."
