Cyclists in the Tour of Hong Kong-Shanghai have sweated out the high temperatures in the Jiangxi stage. American James Meadley from Jelly Belly team peddled to victory and now tops the overall standings.

The riders began the 137 kilometer Stage from Nanchang to Yingtan. The leading peloton was built up after a quarter of the course. And it was Jelly Bellyl's James Meadley who finally won the stage and also the yellow jersey. Lam Kai Tsun from Hong Kong took second place.

Meanwhile in the criterium race, it was two Malaysia cyclists who claimed the top two places. Wong Kam-po from Hong Kong finished eighth in the overall standings and was honoured the best cyclist of Asia for this stage.
