On Thursday, China grabbed 17 gold medals, 9 silvers and 3 bronzes in Doha. China has so far bagged 164 gold medals, 88 silver, and 63 bronze. South Korea, with 58 gold medals, and Japan with 50, follow in second and third.

China won four golds in the Wushu events.Mao Yaqi in the women's and Wu Caibao in the men's nanquan three events combined. Meanwhile, Ma Lingjuan claimed gold in the women's combined Changquan events, and Yuan Xiaochao was victorious in the Men's.
