Two time world champion Cheng Fei of China was the first to compete in the vault and without surprise the sensational gymnast quickly secured her spot in the final. Despite a disappointing performance in the first vault, her signature action was more than enough to snatch the gold.
Meanwhile,it was not a good day for Xiao Qin, China's "pommel king" fell from the horse when his hands slipped and cost him the gold. Another Chinese Yang Wei also fell.
Apart from all that,China's Chen Yibing and Yang Wei jointly win the rings, and Zou Kai takes the gold medal in the floor exercise.
