The local organizing committee for the women's world cup in 2007 has held its sixth meeting to discuss transportation, ticket sales and match draw problems in Beijing.

The secretaries general of the five host cities--Shanghai, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Chengdu reported to the local organizing committee on the main problems during the preparation. The meeting also discussed transportation, ticket sales , and match draw issues. The Fifa women's football ambassador, Sun Wen took part in the meeting as an official of the Shanghai football association. She hoped all fans would support the upcoming tournament.

Sun Wen said:"If we can call the women's veteran football players together to do some campaigns, it can promote this world cup in China. I also want fans to support China and I believe that the team can do a good job in the tournament."

The meeting continued on Wednesday to discuss Internet support, marketing promotion and security issues.
