Climate change tops Ban Ki Moon's China tour

The UN Secretary-General begins his visit to China with a focus on climate change. He met for talks a couple of hours ago with China's Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi. The two men agreed to enhance cooperation in not only climate change, but also other regional and international issues.

In little more than a year, the UN chief has now travelled to China three times. He comes at a point when the world is facing what he calls a crisis of the four Fs--food, fuel, flu, and finance.

Ban Ki Moon sees climate change as the defining challenge of our era. He has encouraged China to show global leadership in tackling the problem.
