An investigation into the cause of Friday's fatal bus blaze is underway in Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan Province. Authorities say sabotage cannot be ruled out. Zhang Yajing has the details.

Based on their initial investigation, officials say it is unlikely that self-combustion or a mechanical failure led to the fire. They also say the blaze was not fueled by diesel in the oil tank.
The bus was equipped with fire-fighting facilities. And three safety hammers for breaking windows were found in the debris.
Meanwhile, 20 of the 76 injured bus passengers remain in serious condition. And 6 of the passengers face a life-threatening situation.
The city civil affairs bureau in Chengdu says ten men and fifteen women were among those who died. And ten of the victims have been identified from DNA tests.
Meanwhile, authorities have begun discussions on compensation. They say specific compensation measures will be carried out according to the results of the investigation.
