Relatives and friends of the victims onboard Flight 447 have been gradually arriving in both Brazil and France.

The first relative of a Chinese victim arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday. She was taken to nearby Windsor Barra Hotel. On Friday, staff from the Chinese embassy to Brazil are scheduled to meet with her. The embassy has promised to provide its full support and help.
