Special Report: Air France jet vanishes |

Relatives of the passengers on Air France Flight 447 are dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy.

They have also been gathering in Rio de Janeiro to receive any updates, and express and share their anguish over their missing loved ones.

As with any airline disaster, many lives were cut short, and families forever changed by the crash. There were European tourists returning from its famous beaches.

A company that distributes electrical parts in France lost ten employees who had gone on a vacation to Brazil.

Distressed relatives of the passengers continue to arrive at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Some of them are still praying for a miracle. But most have given up hope after experts said they were certain that all aboard the flight had died.
