Chinese mainland reports 7 confirmed A/H1N1 case

As of Friday, the Chinese mainland had reported seven confirmed case of the A/H1N1 influenza.

Two more people tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus in Beijing on Friday. That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the Chinese capital to four. The provinces of Sichuan, Shandong and Guangdong have each reported one confirmed case. But all three patients have now been discharged from hospital.

Meanwhile, four people have been diagnosed with the A/H1N1 flu in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Meanwhile, Taiwan has reported a total of six confirmed cases on the island.
