Nîmes is a city in southern France. It has a long and rich history, going all the way back to Roman times.


In fact, the Romans were responsible for one of the most famous landmarks in Nimes – a 50-kilometre long aqueduct. Part of this grand project is a bridge, called the Pont du Gard.
