Today we talk about the issue of nationalism in China against broad background. The rise of this country has been widely accepted by the Europeans and Americans as the most significant event in the 21st century.

Recently, the publication of a controversial book called "China not happy" has caused very extensive simmering debates among intellectuals and young people.

With a robust economic growth of the country over the three decades, both China and the rest of the world are starting to discuss how to reexamine the position of China in the world. Its currency, political, economic and military influence as well as soft power, and above all, China wants very much to rises its vioce and gets its vioce heard.
