Intro:

College Entrance Exam has always been regarded as the main channel of social stratification  in China. Every year, millions of high school graduates after preparing for years compete   ferociously in this pacific exam. In this year, 840000 students, which is 10% of the high school graduates in this country  spurned it. The number has surprized many.

So, what are the reasons behind, how does it reflect about the current siuation of the country's education system and the confidence the public have for it. And how did it reflect the kinds of choices people can make now for today's China.
