Hello, I am Yang Rui and live with Dialogue, our daily current-affairs talk show on CCTV International. Today we focus on the latest approval of a food safety law.
After several shock waves of food scandals last year, law makers who will soon converge in Beijing in March to deliberate how to crackdown on illegal use of misuse of food additives. Public figures are warned against advertising tainted food and problem drugs.
Today we are joined here live by professor Luo Yunbo, dean to the college of food science of the China Agricultural University and Mr. Lester Ross, partner of Wilmerhale. Mr. Ross is an American lawyers. But, up first, let's look at this report.
