International Relief

Following the tsunami disaster in Asia on December 26, an unprecedented international relief effort has been going on. People around the world are reaching out and many governments, international organizations and NGOs have mobilized to help countries in need. And at the forefront of this large-scale relief effort are organizations such as the International Red Cross societies.

Joining us in the studio is Mr. Joha Sparrow, Information delegate for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies regional delegation for East Asia. Also, Mr. Wang Xiaohua, Director of the External Liaison Department at the Red Cross Society of China.
