Special Report:   One Year after 5.12 Quake

May 12th is the one-year anniversary of the Sichuan Earthquake, the most severe natural disaster of 2008. Now, as the areas devastated by the quake in southwest China recover, a group of student musicians are in Beijing to express their gratitude and hopes for a bright future.

At Beijing Normal University, a special concert was staged. All the musicians in the guitar band are students from the Beichuan Middle School, one of the worst hit schools in last year's earthquake. All of them are handicapped.

Over the past 12 months, volunteers from Beijing Normal University have helped create and coach the guitar band, hoping music can ease the lingering pain.

Qin Ruiting, Student of Beichuan Middle School said "I am dedicating the song to all those who have given us care and support. I hope they are happy and healthy. Also I hope the song will reach my parents in heaven. I hope they are happy in heaven. "
