Michael Jackson's property to be auctioned

Property from the estate of pop star Michael Jackson went on display in Beverly Hills, California on Monday, just over a week before auction. Everything from music awards and costumes, to statues and video games are on display allowing the public a sneak-peek into the pop star's life.

Highlights of the collection include the entrance gates to Jackson's famed Neverland Ranch, his MTV and American Music Awards, and multiple portraits of the singer. But if you want to rock the iconic white glove Jackson made famous while belting out "Billie Jean," be prepared to shell out as much as 100-thousand US dollars.

Darren Julien, the president and CEO of Julien's auctions said, "The most iconic piece to any Michael Jackson fan or collector would be the white glove that he used in many stage performances of "Billie Jean." That's the most iconic piece from his career. We estimate it at 10 to 20 thousand dollars, but anticipate, due to it's historic nature, that it will sell somewhere 100 to 200,000 dollars."

Other items include multiple statues of children that were scattered throughout Neverland and various, life-size, wax statues.

Darren Julien said he has interest from a variety of major museums and celebrities, all hoping to own a piece of pop music history. The auction is expected to fetch upwards of 10 million dollars with most of the profits going to Jackson.

One of the biggest U.S. pop stars of the 1980s, Jackson has lived a reclusive life since he was tried and acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005. But after suffering financial problems, the singer last month announced a series of concerts in London, starting in July.
