LHASA, April 4 (Xinhua) -- A German group of 11 tourists arrived at Lhasa Saturday night, beginning its six-day tour in Tibet Autonomous Region.

This is the first foreign tourist group Tibet received after it announced on March 29 to resume receiving foreign tourists as of April 5.

The group plans to visit a number of key scenic spots in Tibet and leave for Nepal on Thursday.

More than 500 foreign tourists in more than 200 groups are expected to come to Tibet in April.
