With more than a year to go to the Shanghai World Expo, participating cities are busy getting ready. France's "Shanghai World Expo Bureau" is promoting an idea of "sensitive city", with a six-thousand-square-meter exhibition hall on water.

The bureau revealed their designs at a press conference in Paris. They will incorporate taste, touch, smell, sight, and sound into their idea of a "sensitive city." All the buildings are surrounded by water. The project will wrap up before opening day in May 2010. The exhibition halls will feature French artifacts and tantalizing French food.
