Beijing´s historic center may remain the key draw for visitors around the world, but Beijing actually has a lot of modern attractions to lure the tourists. Let´s take a look at some of the capital's newest parks in today´s China Cool.

Beijing Happy Valley

Happy Valley is Beijing´s newest amusement park, and is widely regarded as a Chinese version of Disneyland. The theme park covers an area of 75 acres, and since opening to tourists in 2006, has attracted a lot of visitors from home and abroad.

Happy Valley is composed of six theme parks, including the Firth Forest, Atlantis, the Aegean Sea, the Lost Maya, Shangri-La and the Ant Kingdom.

More than 50 scenic sights of culture and ecology are scattered in every direction, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience the charm of various civilizations.

The valley can be compared to a beautiful artistic picture where you can see tree houses, docks, bridges, towns, ancient towers, lakes, forests and other amazing scenic spots.
