From one-thousand-year-old Tibetan hand printing techniques captured in exquisite Tangka paintings to intricate Wuxi Embroidery and delicate porcelain ware.

The essence of Chinese elite craftsmanship is assembled in one exhibition, with over nine categories such as clothing, food and herbal medicine, to let visitors get close to the grandeur of the country's traditional arts.

A visitor said, "I finally realized that there are so many fabulous crafts and arts in China. They are stunning and worth admiring."

"I brought my grandson here and let him know how the cloth is woven. It's instructive for him to see the process." said a visitor.

China initiated the Intangible Cultural Heritage protection project in 2005. Organizers hope to turn precious intangible cultural resources into actual products, to better develop the techniques behind these unique works.
