The drizzle cooled the steamy early summer heat. But the rain didn't dampen the passion of the performers or of the audience. Performers from Brigham Young University in Salt Lake City and the Hartford chorale from New York City put on a song and dance show in the rain.
The Olympic Cultural Festival was inaugurated in 2003. 2008 is its sixth session. Hundreds of artists and troupes from China and around the world are putting on a cultural extravaganza.
