South Korean dancer Ju Suho is heading for Beijing with his stage epic " Dance of Heaven." He's coming at the invitation of the Beijing Olympics Committee. The performance is scheduled August 11th and 13th.

South Korean dancer Ju Suho is heading for Beijing with his stage epic "Dance of Heaven."

South Korea's Ju Suho and his company met the press in Beijing, Monday. For the first two shows, "Dance of Heaven" will be performed in part. Then, will come an additional performance, August 15th, at which the complete version of "Dance of Heaven" will be staged.

Chinese people should feel right at home with the South Korean dance. It was choreographed by Ju Suho whose said his inspiration came from the poems of Li Bai, the best known Chinese poet of all time.

Although South Korea soap operas are more popular in China, Ju noted, one could get a deeper understanding about the essence of Korean culture through traditional dances.
