The Chinese new year is approaching.

The Chinese new year is approaching. But the festive atmosphere is not restricted to Chinese cities. A grand celebration is planned for London. It will be the largest celebration in any city outside Asia. Before UK prime minister Gordon Brown set out to visit China on Friday, Mark Prescott, the official in charge of the Chinese New Year celebration program was interviewed by our correspondent there.
