Chang'e One, China's first lunar orbiter has played the the Olympic volunteers' song in space and transmitted it back to Earth. This is part of an event to publicize the song and inspire people to volunteer during next year's Olympics. The song was handed over to the Beijing Organization Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games, or BOCOG, on Monday morning.
Hundreds of participants sang the song in chorus as the compact disc with the volunteers' song "A smiling Beijing" was handed to the volunteers representative at the ceremony.
