More and more festivals and events like that one are being held around the globe showcasing the art and culture of China. And they're getting bigger as the worldwide demand grows. Some of the big ones are the Year of China in Russia, there are major plans between China and South Korea and there's China Day in the Netherlands.

China's folk art and culture are the highlights of the fourth Moscow International Folk Art Festival this year. Traditional handicrafts are displayed: dough figures, paper-cutting, Chinese dots, snuff bottles, facial masks from the Peking opera, hand carving, and gourd carving. The Russian festival is held every year to keep the old folk arts alive and promote traditional handicrafts. This year's festival also echoes the ongoing Year of China in Russia.
