The Beijing Olympic song quest is attracting great interest among musicians both at home and abroad. Four big Hong Kong names from the music world presented their compositions on Monday.

Four talented Hong Kong musicians travelled to Beijing to submit their songs to the Games' organizers.

Albert Lam is recognized as Hong Kong's number one lyricist. He has produced thousands of songs for pop stars all over Asia.

His Olympic song entry is called "Dream within Reach", which he says echoes the Beijing Olympic spirit of "One World, One Dream".

Of course Lam hopes his song is chosen, but he says he's happy just to play a part in the Olympic movement.

Peter Kam, last year's winner of the Berlin Film Festival Best Music Award, was one of the other prestigious Hong Kong musicians to submit an Olympic song.

Over 10 thousand songs have been submitted from around the world since the campaign was launched in 2003.
