The Ministry of Health says that 60 new A/H1N1 cases have been confirmed on the Chinese mainland in just over 24 hours. This brings the total number of cases reported on the Chinese mainland to 678. Of these, 373 involve people who have recovered.

Four infected students involved in China's first collective case of A/H1N1 flu in Guangdong province about a week ago have been discharged from hospital. Their health will be monitored over the next week. The other infected students are in a stable condition. And Hong Kong health authorities say 33 new cases of A/H1N1 flu have been confirmed in just over 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the SAR to 629.
