Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

In response to the first A/H1N1 group infection case among the students in Dongguan, Guangdong province, the Health Ministry and the Education Ministry have jointly released a new plan aiming to prevent any further outbreaks in schools. And the main focus of preventive measures now is to contain the spread of infections in the community.

The new plan classifies all schools into three categories. And it outlines different preventive and control measures for each of the three categories.

In the schools that have not found any A/H1N1 cases, students' temperatures must be checked every morning. All sick leave must be registered and monitored. And cases of flu-like symptoms must be reported within two hours.
