The first two pieces of red aluminum boards were set up on the outside wall of the structure on Monday. About another 10,000 pieces of this red board will put up in the coming two months. The color of the pavilion has a special name: Gugong Red, or Forbidden City Red.

The unique color represents the taste and spirit of Chinese culture. Seven different kinds of red will be used to decorate both the inside and outside of the pavilion. The structure's red outfit will be finished by July the 25th, and everything will be completed by the end of this year.
