China urges US to consider seriously on tire tariffs

China's Ministry of Commerce says it hopes the US government will take its appeal seriously and stay objective when deciding on higher tariffs proposed against Chinese tire makers.

The Ministry of Commerce says it thinks the ruling in July made by the US International Trade Commission is unreasonable adding that this will not only affect China's tire industry and hamper bilateral trade, but is also likely to harm the US economy.
