We'll take a more in-depth look into some hot issues on the agenda. But before we begin our discussion, let's first have this report on the first day's meeting.
Q1. Chinese President Hu Jintao and US President Barack Obama have highlighted the importance of this bilateral meeting. President Hu sent a congratulatory message to the opening session while President Obama delivered a keynote speech. What signals do the leaders want to send to the world?
Q2. At the opening ceremony, it was interesting to hear both speakers reference well known quotations from each other's nations. How do you interpret this?
Q3. Vice Premier Wang Qishan said "a more open and more dynamic Chinese economy will bring opportunities to all countries in the world, including the US". Will China bring such benefits? And what would they be?
