Energy Saving is the theme of this year's exhibition, which attracted more than 600 exhibitors in an area covering 30-thousand square meters.

Chen Shangqin, Deputy Director of China Association of Environmental Protection Industry said "The first China Environmental Protection Exhibition was held in 1986. This year is the 11th exhibition. The scale of the exhibition is improving year-by-year, which shows that China's economic and environmental protection standards are improving."

Water pollution is now the most important task in the country's environmental protection. Enterprises in this field have brought their latest technology and products to deal with waste water. Their equipment can handle waste from key industries like petrochemical, paper making, or textile printing and dyeing.

Zhou Chenggao, Jindalai Environmental Protection Ltd., said "Our technology can deal with waste water from people's daily life and soil run-off together, thus reducing the loss of soil, and reducing secondary pollution. The energy consumption of our product is only 40 percent of similar products, and this is also a leading technology worldwide. Our products have already been sold to Europe."

More than 50 conferences will also be held during the exhibition, many of which will focus on the latest policy, and popularization of new technology.
