A thousand delegates from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are in Taipei. They're attending the Guilin-Taiwan Economy and Trade Cooperative Forum. The forum is the largest in scale and highest level in the history of China's mainland.

Guangxi is on a big buying mission. It's sent over a thousand people to the ten-day economy, trade and culture activity in Taipei. And the good news for Taiwan is that Guangxi plans to spend over 100 million US dollars.

Sun Jianqiu, Deputy Director of Guangxi Regional Commerce Department said "This time, we organized about 120 enterprises to go to Taiwan to purchase goods, covering textiles, hardware machinery, electronic products and agricultural products. Currently, we've reached 68 cooperative projects."

This is the fourth Guilin-Taiwan Economy and Trade Cooperation Forum, and the first held on the island. In recent years, Taiwan's direct investment in Guangxi has greatly increased. And both sides are looking forward to more economic and trade cooperation.
