The Ministry of Commerce and the Taiwan Affairs Office have released a notice for regulations on Mainland investment in Taiwan.

Mainland companies and investors should follow the principles of mutual benefit and market economy. The notice also says the government encourages investments that bring complementary benefits to the two sides.

Mainland companies need to apply to the Ministry of Commerce for planned investments.
