China's vice Minister of Commerce Jiang Zengwei and Macao Financial Secretary Tam Pak Yuen signed the document on Monday. The Mainland will introduce 31 liberalization measures covering three main areas: expanding service trade, facilitating trade and investment, and pushing two-way acceptance of professional qualifications.

According to the new pact, the mainland will expand access in 11 areas of service trade to Macao, These include exhibitions, tourism and healthcare. The measures will come into force on October 1st.
