Special Report:   G20 Summit in London

The Brazilian President is also urging greater regulation of the world's financial markets. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva made the remarks on Wednesday during a joint press conference with French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy. Lula says it is up to the participants at the London summit to fix the global financial system so that poor countries do not unduly suffer.

Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, Brazilian President, says, "French President Sarkozy and I do not want to take the responsibility of a meeting bound to fail.
