The Ministry says the transportation of coal put 134 thousand trains on the tracks per day, a figure that is closer to the peak season's capacity. Officials say economic crisis had an impact on rail freight, but that the rebound means stimulus measures are taking effect. They add that freight capacity doesn't shrink in the latest figures.
