They said that despite the negative effect of the global financial crisis, they are confident the mainland's economic stimulus package will help Hong Kong and Macao overcome difficulties.
CPPCC member Chen Yongqi from Hong Kong said that amid the current financial crisis, it's promising to invest in the mainland. CPPCC member Zhang Huafeng from Hong Kong hopes that Hong Kong banks will lend to mainland companies to help them overcome capital shortages.
