We can see a lot of familiar names amongst the members attending this year's CPPCC session. Not surprisingly, economic issues are a major concern for all of them. Let's hear what they have to say.

Yang Yuanqing, CEO of Lenovo Group said "China has such a huge market and so many people. It's possible for them to boost domestic consumption. This of course will also benefit our company."

Wu Xinghui, CPPCC member said "I always believe that behind every crisis there are also some opportunities. For our country, we should rely on technology to cope with the current financial crisis, and lead our country's economic development."

Xu Jiayin, Board Chairman of Evergrande Real Estate Group said "Sure, I'm very confident."

Wang Shuping, CPPCC member said "While facing the current difficulties, especially the financial crisis, confidence is needed to get through this unique period."

Zhang Xinsheng, Vice Minister of Ministry of Education said "Our country's development needs technology and talent. The Chinese Communist Party committees and governments at all levels, the public enterprises, and private firms must all work together. In that way, the employment situation will gradually improve."
