A high-powered Chinese procurement team has arrived in Berlin, Germany, starting their multi-billion-dollar buying mission.

Commerce Minister Chen Deming is leading the delegates from state-owned, joint venture and private companies.

A high-powered Chinese procurement team has arrived in  Berlin, Germany, starting their multi-billion-dollar buying mission.

They're expected to sign deals for automobiles, machinery, aircraft engines, railway equipment and components. The Chinese trade officials and business leaders are to hold negotiations with their German counterparts on Wednesday. They will also visit Switzerland, Spain and Britain.
