The 2009 China International Trade Fair for Fibers and Yams, the China Intentional Textile Apparel Exhibition and China Fashion Week will be all held in March this year. The "3 shows in one week" has already had a very long history in China. But this year fighting the global economic downturn will be their top priority. Event organizers say, they have already started preparation work, and product innovation will be the key theme for all the shows.

Zhang Yankai, Deputy Chairman of China Textile Industry Association said "The 3 shows will be likely to be the same as the previous year. Overseas participants registrations is up nearly 8 percent this year."

Figures show, that the scales of 2 major textiles shows in Germany earlier went down nearly 20 percent and 50 percent respectively. The China Textile Industry Association says, despite the global economic downturn, the scale of China's textile exhibitions actually grew.

Analyses believe the 3 shows could still enjoy good successes, because the world demand for good quality cost-effective Chinese products will continue to rise.
