Nearly all air fares across China have been sold at the full price for the upcoming Spring Festival. And popular flights, like Beijing to Changchun, Harbin, Changsha, Kunming and Sanya, have all sold out.

Nearly all air fares across China have been sold at the  full price for the upcoming Spring Festival.

Tickets sales to Sichuan, Hunan, and Hubei were also very strong. Analysts expect a travel peak after January the 11th, as millions of people return to their hometowns before the Lunar New Year.

Airlines say they will add more planes to popular destinations to cope with the demand. It's expected that passenger flow will increase 50 percent between January 17th to 25th.
