The city's housing regulator says Guangzhou built 2,145 units affordable houses in six locations to meet the needs of low income families. The units have been on the market since the end of November. 134 apartments in one of the locations boasting transportation and well built facilities have been purchased. But sales in apartments in other locations are not selling well.
Experts say some people are waiting for better choices in the future.
