Special Report:   House Market under New Policy

November saw an increase in the number of units sold coupled with a rise in property prices in many cities in China. However, experts say it's a little early to conclude that the property market has rebounded based only on the one-month figure.

According to the statistics, 6,200 sets of new housing were sold in Shanghai in November, up 56 percent month-on-month in terms of the floor space. And the average price increased 6.7 percent compared with October. Meanwhile, during the same period in Beijing, the total number of contracts of properties under construction achieved 12,700, up 64 percent over the previous month.

However, experts say the trend of the property market could not be clear until the growth continues for at least a quarter.
