The organizers say the number of exhibitors is less than expected due to current economic situation, but the number of visitors increased by 30 percent versus last year. Most of the spectators are employees from companies who didn't attend this expo.
One visitor said "I came here mainly to see what our competitors are doing, and learn what is on the cutting edge in the industry. My company did not attend the expo this year, but we will pay attention to the situation of our rivals. "
Exhibitors showcased various products covering property projects, decoration materials and furniture. Many brought their best products because they are confident about the economy for the next year.
One exhibitor said "The government has issued lots of policies to drive the economy, and it has also invested 4 trillion yuan to boost domestic consumption. So I'm confident."
Experts say China's real estate industry is in an adjustment period. Despite disagreement on future property prices, all the companies are paying close attention to the latest policies and technologies.
Shan Dawei, Secretary General of Organization Committee of CIHAF said "Despite the current global economic situation, the companies are still confident about China's economy in the future. Meanwhile, the real estate industry is adjusting, so we should adapt our development plans to go with the tide."
The expo has attracted more than 370 exhibitors and will end on Tuesday.
