Special Report:   Dalian Summer Davos

The World Economic Forum will hold its summer meetings in China every year.

This is according to Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. He said Dalian presents one of China's best images as a "new champion." And he went on to note the appropriateness that the port city was to become the first venue.

The next session of Summer Davos will be held in September 2008 in Tianjin, a port city in north China. Schwab said the third session could go to an inland Chinese city.
